Agreement to Terms

By using AI Classifier ("Service," "Platform," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access or use our Service.

Description of Service

AI Classifier is an intelligent email classification platform that:

  • Automatically categorizes and organizes Gmail emails using artificial intelligence
  • Applies Gmail labels for better email organization
  • Provides priority-based email notifications
  • Creates suggested email responses
  • Offers analytics and insights on email patterns

Account Registration and Eligibility

Eligibility Requirements

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use our Service
  • You must have a valid Gmail or Google Workspace account
  • You must provide accurate and complete registration information
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account

Account Types

  • Personal Accounts: Individual Gmail users
  • Workspace Accounts: Google Workspace organizations and domains
  • Enterprise Accounts: Large organizations with custom requirements

Registration Process

  1. Authorization: Grant our application access to your Gmail account via OAuth 2.0
  2. Configuration: Set up email classification preferences and rules
  3. Verification: Confirm your email address and account details
  4. Activation: Begin using the email classification service

Authorized Use and Restrictions

Permitted Uses

  • Organize and classify your own Gmail emails
  • Configure custom classification rules for your organization
  • Integrate with approved third-party applications
  • Export your classification data for business intelligence

Prohibited Uses

You may not:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or duplicate our technology
  • Share your account credentials with unauthorized parties
  • Use the Service to process emails you don't own or have permission to access
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service's functionality
  • Use automated systems to abuse or overload our Service
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

Gmail Access and Permissions

Required Gmail Permissions

Our Service requires the following Gmail permissions:

  • Read Access (gmail.readonly): To analyze email content for classification
  • Modify Access (gmail.modify): To apply labels and organize emails
  • Compose Access (gmail.compose): To create draft responses
  • Labels Access (gmail.labels): To manage Gmail labels and folders

Data Processing

  • We process email content temporarily for classification purposes only
  • Email content is not permanently stored in our systems
  • Only metadata and classification results are retained
  • You can revoke access at any time through your Google Account settings

Subscription Plans and Billing

Available Plans

  • Free Trial: 14-day trial with up to 2,000 emails
  • Starter Plan: Up to 2,000 emails per month ($9/month)
  • Personal Plan: Up to 5,000 emails per month ($19/month)
  • Professional Plan: Up to 15,000 emails per month ($49/month)
  • Business Plan: Up to 50,000 emails per month ($149/month)
  • Enterprise Plan: Unlimited emails, custom AI training, priority support

Billing Terms

  • Monthly or annual subscription billing
  • All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
  • Automatic renewal unless cancelled before the next billing cycle
  • Price changes with 30 days advance notice
  • Usage overage charges for exceeding plan limits

Payment Methods

  • Credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express)
  • PayPal
  • Bank transfer (Enterprise customers only)
  • Google Pay (where available)

Privacy and Data Protection

Data Collection and Use

  • We collect and process data as described in our Privacy Policy
  • Email content is processed temporarily and not permanently stored
  • We implement industry-standard security measures
  • We comply with applicable data protection laws (GDPR, POPIA, CCPA, etc.)

International Data Transfers

  • Data may be processed in South Africa, the United States and other countries
  • Appropriate safeguards implemented for international transfers
  • Compliance with local data protection requirements including POPIA (Protection of Personal Information Act)

Limitation of Liability

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Limitation of Damages

IN NO EVENT SHALL AI CLASSIFIER BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

Maximum Liability

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE INCIDENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY.

Dispute Resolution

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa without regard to conflict of law principles.

Dispute Resolution Process

  1. Informal Resolution: Contact us first to resolve disputes informally
  2. Mediation: If informal resolution fails, disputes may be submitted to mediation
  3. Arbitration: Binding arbitration for disputes not resolved through mediation
  4. Court Jurisdiction: Courts of Cape Town, South Africa have exclusive jurisdiction
